Fans going to see Oasis next year will spend £406 each seeing the band, providing a half a billion pound benefit for the UK economy — but this is less than half of the cash spent by followers of Taylor Swift.
As the Britpop band sold out 15 UK shows on Saturday, the Centre for Economic Business Research (CEBR) estimated that the tour will contribute £487 million to the economy.

Fans of Oasis will spend £175 million on tickets, £71 million
