Oasis fans have been left ‘devastated’ after missing out on a private ballot for extra Wembley dates.
The band announced this afternoon that all emails had been sent out with details and codes to be used in securing the final tickets.
It comes amid ‘unprecedented’ demand for tickets and comes after record amounts of people applied for gig tickets last month – crashing Ticketmaster.
In a statement, Oasis said: ‘Fans selected in the private ballot have now been contacted with on-sale information and their code for the ticket sale.
‘Codes were sent via the email address associated with their Ticketmaster account and ballot registration.
‘Demand for these shows is unprecedented. A code does not guarantee tickets. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis.’

Many people took to social media to post memes about how devastated they were on missing out on the ballot
Other people posted gifs showing distraught fans in the crowds of stadiums after their team loses
One Oasis fan posted an image of David Brent from BBC’s The Office, pretending that they didn’t want Oasis tickets
But many people took to social media to announce their dismay at missing out on the draw.
Some people posted Simpsons memes such as Moe the bartender with his head in the oven while others posted gifs of distraught football fans after their team loses.
One person wrote on X/Twitter: ‘I am so so sad – in the ballot but no code and 9 hours in ticket master queues
‘Never been to a concert in my life and yours is the only one I ever wanted to go to.’
Someone else added: ‘Nine hours in the queue on Ticketmaster and no invite to ballot received. Typical.’
Another said: ‘Oh well the dream is dead no original presale no in-queue tickets and now no private ballot either and folks I know going who can’t stand oasis just to be there I’m away to cry in a corner it just wasn’t meant to be for me and my kids.’
And another wrote: ‘Another day of misery after not being chosen for the oasis ballot.’
It follows a large amount of goodwill towards the reuniting band after many fans were frustrated by ticketing chaos, meaning thousands missed out after the site crashed.

One fan claimed they had never been to a gig before but the only one they have ever wanted to is now sold out
Others were burned by extortionate costs due to Ticketmaster’s ‘dynamic prices’ which saw the cost of a ticket more than double in some cases.
The Britpop group, which split in 2009, blamed their managers for the dynamic pricing fiasco – saying they were ‘not aware’ the system would be used.
Oasis said the approach was chosen during meetings between Ticketmaster, promoters and their management.
It comes after Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher revealed how his rekindled relationship with his brother Noel affected their mother.
A fan asked Liam on X: ‘Rasta, what was Peggy’s reaction when she found out that you and Noel were going to be together again.’
The lead singer replied: ‘She’s made up very happy, it must have been awful for her.’
Speaking about the upcoming shows, Liam posted yesterday: ‘Too many breaks for my liking, R’kid. I’ll be full on for about 15 songs let my Biblical brother do his thing for a bit and then I’ll come back on and send you all into outer space is that OK cheers luv?’

A tweet posted by Liam Gallagher in September 2017, criticising his brother Noel for ticket prices, has resurfaced and been widely shared online after Oasis’s reunion announcement
Oasis’ 14-show tour will run from July 4 to August 17 next year, kicking off at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium before the brothers pack out Heaton Park in Manchester, Wembley in London, Murrayfield in Edinburgh and Croke Park in Dublin.
Liam suffered particular criticism last week when an old tweet of his mocking Noel for solo gig prices resurfaced and was widely shared online.
The younger brother had slammed Noel in for charging $350 (£266) for a gig in the US, writing in September 2017: ‘350 dollars to go and see rkid in USA what a c*** when will it all stop as you were LG x.’
