Oasis are back: Our writers pick the one team they wish could play again

Must read

We are all the product of our childhood and while there have been far better teams I have watched in a professional capacity, the team that really made me fall in love with football was the Leyton Orient side of the 1991-92 season.

For two years this group was in the promotion hunt in what is now League One, two years running they went on a six-game losing streak towards the end of the campaign to narrowly miss out on promotion. The theory was the club could not afford to pay the promotion bonuses and, given it almost went out of business a few years later …

I was a ball boy at Brisbane Road for four years and that team of Kenny Achampong, Chris Bart-Williams, Steve Castle, Terry Howard, Ricky Otto, Ian Hendon, Paul Heald and Kevin Nugent (Chris Wilder also joined on loan) played some of the best attacking football, under manager Frank Clark, I have seen at that level.
