New York City Board of Education Retirement System issued request for proposals for investment consultant services.
The investment consultant will be subject to a three-year agreement from November 2024 with an optional two-year extension. Additionally, New York City BERS could choose to contract two investment consultants, with one dedicated to general consulting and the other specialising in private markets investments.

- Training and educating BERS personnel and trustees

- Strategic advice for BERS’ private markets investment programme
- New investment identification and evaluation
- Private markets research reports
- Operational due diligence
- Private markets portfolio performance monitoring
- Private markets back office support
