The number of Justin Timberlake tickets being sold on resale sites is soaring in the midst of the singer’s DWI arrest.

Exclusive data that looks at StubHub and Viagogo has revealed that the number of resale tickets for the Cry Me A River singer’s four UK tour dates has increased by a whopping 308% since Monday.

The star, 43, was arrested for driving while intoxicated and running a stop sign in the early hours of Tuesday morning, following a night out with friends in the exclusive Hamptons enclave of Sag Harbor.

The singer’s The Forget Tomorrow World Tour will be heading to UK shores on August 7, beginning at Birmingham‘s Utilita Arena, before heading to Manchester’s Co-op live, and then finally playing two nights at the O2 in London.

But, it seems that fans are scrambling to rid themselves of the tickets and make a profit instead.

According to the data from FairBettingSites, there were 783 tickets across Timberlake’s four UK tour dates up for resale as of Monday.

Following the incident on Tuesday, this has risen to 3,201 as of Friday.

One British fan who is reselling their tickets for the London O2 show on August 11, but would like to remain anonymous, said: ‘I bought four tickets for me and my mates back in March, but the news of Justin’s DUI has freaked all of us out.

‘Like is he going to cancel last minute? Would we get our money back? We spent over £100 each to go to the O2 show on the 11th, but it’s not worth the risk. Rather just try to get our money back now.’

On Viagogo, tickets for his London shows are being flogged from £133 each, with the highest prices reaching £672 per ticket.

Timberlake has vowed that he will continue with his tour despite his legal troubles, with his two shows in Chicago later this week set to go ahead.

The crooner’s next performance is scheduled to take place at Chicago’s United Centre on June 21, and he will play two nights at the venue before heading to Madison Square Garden in New York next week.

It comes just after the news that tickets for one of Justin’s shows in Pennsylvania on July 4 are available for as little as $11 (£8.67) on the resale site Seatgeek.

Timberlake was pulled over after he ran a stop sign while behind the wheel of his BMW X7, according to the police.

Local officers reportedly followed the pop star and observed him swerving across the road, forcing cops to pull him over.

Once he had stopped, officers noted that the singer was ‘glassy-eyed’ with a strong odor of alcohol emanating from him, according to a police report.

The father-of-two performed a field sobriety test and was asked to take a breathalyzer test, which he refused.

Timberlake was arraigned on one count of DWI, as well as running a stop sign and failing to stay in his lane.

He is next in court on July 26 after being released without bail.

For refusing the breathalyzer test, Timberlake had his driving privileges in the state of New York suspended.

The pop star’s lawyer has since broken his silence over the singer’s DWI arrest and suggested there is more to the story.

‘Mr. Burke looks forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake on these allegations,’ a statement from attorney Edward Burke’s office said.

‘Mr. Burke will have a lot to say at the appropriate time; he is currently awaiting full discovery from the District Attorney’s office.’

Timberlake reportedly apologized to his ‘shocked’ tour crew on call just hours after his arrest.

After he was released in the early hours of Tuesday morning, the singer reportedly contacted his team to reassure them that his world tour would not be affected.
