Shocking aerial footage shows the moment a Russian solider was blown up by a Ukrainian drone loaded with explosives after he managed to catch it.
The Putin fighter can been seen desperately running for his life as he is pursued by the UAV.
At one moment he catches the flying bomb and – clutching it in his hand – keeps running.
But then with his energy running out, he slows down, and drops it.
The drone immediately explodes in a bright flash and his body can be seen lying in the middle of the road.
Some reports say that the FPV operator blew up the drone as the soldier carried it.
But a later sequence of the footage shows the man dropped the drone causing it to explode.

The shocking incident was also filmed by the drone itself and captures the moment when the soldier catches the UAV.
‘This footage, recorded by the drone’s camera, shows the soldier first trying to evade and flee from the drone before eventually catching it,’ reported the Kyiv Post.
‘The video then captures the drone’s detonation, ending with the soldier lying motionless on the road.’
One unconfirmed report from news portal Haberler claimed the incident was in the Kursk region of Russia.
‘The advance of the Ukrainian army in Kursk has renewed frontline fighting, and the image transmitted from the area once again showed the merciless face of war,’ said the report.
‘A Russian soldier following the Ukrainian army caught his drone and began to run, but the explosion took his life in just a few seconds.’

It comes as Russian drones violated the airspace of two NATO countries during an air raid on Ukraine yesterday.
A drone entered Romanian territory early on Sunday as Moscow struck ‘civilian targets and port infrastructure’ across the Danube river in Ukraine, Romania’s Ministry of National Defence reported.
Preliminary data indicates there may be an ‘impact zone’ in an uninhabited area near the Romanian village of Periprava, near the Ukrainian border, the ministry said. It added that an investigation is underway.
Meanwhile, Latvia’s Defence Minister Andris Spruds said that a Russian drone fell the day before near the town of Rezekne, and had likely strayed into Latvia from neighboring Belarus, the Kremlin’s close and dependent ally.
Since the reported invasion of its airspace, Romania urged Moscow to stop what it described as an escalation, which comes as tensions between Vladimir Putin and the West threaten to spiral out of control.

Meanwhile, in Ukraine, two civilians were killed and four others, including two children, injured in a night-time Russian air strike on the northern city of Sumy, the regional military administration reported.
In the Kharkiv region further east, overnight on Saturday shelling killed two elderly women, according to local governor Oleh Syniehubov.
