The Sun Online revealed back in February that the singer and his partner were going to be parents for the first time.
Andy’s baby news comes fifteen years after he divorced his first wife Liberty X singer and reality TV star Michelle Heaton.
The pair married in 2006 but then separated in 2008 following a series of issues.
During their time together, the couple were the focus of their own ITV reality series as well as numerous glossy magazine shoots.
After their split, Andy went on to marry Big Brother star Lydia Louise in 2013.
While the pair never officially announced their split they deleted all trace of each other from social media a number of years ago.
Andy shot to fame in 2002 as part of 3SL with his two brothers – Ant and Steve.
The band achieved two UK top 20 singles, after landing a huge record deal with Sony, and played numerous arena shows.
The band also performed on shows including Top of the Pops and the Smash Hits Awards. Following their shock split, Andy went on to appear in the second series of Pop Idol where he made it to the final seven.
In 2005, he made a bid to represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest.
In recent years, Andy has shunned the limelight and has instead focused on a career as an entrepreneur and a travel blogger.
