Entrants who passed the test – and were lucky – received an email giving them a unique code to buy a maximum of four tickets each between 7pm and 10pm on Friday. But even they are not guaranteed success, as only a set number of tickets are being sold on a “first come, first served” basis.

All of the codes had been allocated by 2.30pm on Friday, leaving those who missed out having to try their luck in the general sale on Saturday at 9am.
The Manchester band warned fans not to buy a pre-sale code from someone else, or transfer their own code, as the codes would “only work with the registered email address”.
Oasis will start the tour at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium on July 4 and 5. They will then play five shows at Manchester’s Heaton Park on July 11, 12, 16, 19 and 20.
They will appear at Wembley Stadium in London on July 25, 26, and 30, and Aug 2 and 3, before performing at Murrayfield in Edinburgh on Aug 9 and 12. Dublin’s Croke Park will be the final venue, with dates on Aug 16 and 17.
