Noel and Liam Gallagher will be ‘kept apart’ on Oasis tour

It seems the return of Oasis won’t be the happy family reunion we hoped for as a ‘military-style operation’ is in place to prevent any clashes.

Organisers of the highly anticipated Oasis Live ’25 are reportedly planning to keep Noel and Liam Gallagher separate as much as possible so they don’t look back in anger.

Ever since the reunion tour was announced, fans have joked about whether or not the famously feuding brothers will be able to remain civil.

The brothers have been hurling barbs at each other since Noel, 57, ditched the band after a dramatic fallout in 2009 during a previous tour.

While Liam, 52, has been claiming nothing but love for his older brother now the reunion is in sight, an insider has said the pair are keeping their distance off-stage.

‘Noel and Liam are returning and reuniting, but don’t for one minute think that this is a tour about complete brotherly love and going out night after night and being together 24/7 like the old days,’ they told The Mirror.

The source continued: ‘They will not be in each other’s pockets and effectively be separate entities that come together for necessary promotional work and the gigs. Other than that they will be apart for much of this reunion.’

Separate dressing rooms have been arranged in what has been described as a ‘military-style operation’ to keep the peace.

Not sharing a dressing room with your brother when you’re both in your 50s is hardly a huge request but Noel and Liam will reportedly also have separate transport.

This is in hopes of keeping their electricity on stage for the fans, rather than directed at each other — which can only be a good thing for gig-goers.

After all the chaos trying to get tickets, with touting and dynamic pricing posing a huge issue, the last thing fans need is a backstage scrap cancelling the whole thing.

‘Any fallout would be a PR and financial nightmare,’ the source added. ‘Rehearsals will be the first time that they will be together for a significant amount of time working again. The atmosphere is sure to be electric, but also a little edgy.’

Liam previously told a fan on X that the brothers would not be doing much – if any – press in the lead-up to the tour to prevent scrutiny over their delicate relationship.

‘We don’t want to do interviews coz we’re scared of the media asking us intrusive questions and trying to pick holes in our relationship,’ he wrote.

He also said he simply can’t be bothered to do a full press conference when announcing Bonehead’s return and other plans for the tour; which will include officially revealing their support act.

Current reports state that The Verve will be opening for Oasis, however, there have been plenty of other Mancunian names floating around such as Blossoms and Lottery Winners.

However, Liam did reassure fans that he and his brother had completely buried the hatchet now and he would be nothing but smiles on stage.

The Wonderwall icon shared: ‘Nope it’s all done peace has prevailed he’s the man I can’t wait to be on stage with him blowing him kisses in between each song.’

Hopefully, Oasis will be able to acquiesce and stand by each other while on tour.
