Singer-songwriter Noah Kahan is partnering with The Handle Bar to offer a fitness class at Fenway Park on Friday, July 19. This event, called Move & Meditate, falls on the morning of Kahan’s second sold-out show in Boston and will raise money and awareness for his mental health non-profit, The Busyhead Project.

The class provides an opportunity for fans, fitness enthusiasts, and mental health advocates to move their bodies while also benefiting the non-profit and bringing awareness to wellness of all aspects.

“Physical fitness and community building have a positive impact on mental health,” said the Busyhead Project team in a press release. “We are so grateful to The Handle Bar studios for creating this one-of-a-kind fitness and wellness experience at Fenway and to the Red Sox for hosting this class before Noah’s 2nd sold-out show.”

The 60-minute fitness session will consist of The Handle Bar’s signature SCULPT workout in addition to a guided meditation. Lightweight equipment and choreographed cardio exercises will work to target the entire body during the class.

According to the Busyhead Project, nearly one in five adults in the U.S. struggle with their mental health, which not only affects the individual, but also families, friends and support networks. Founded by Vermont-native Kahan, the project seeks to make mental health resources more accessible and supports initiatives to raise awareness, foster discussions and provide resources to those in need.

Jessica Fracalossi founded the Handle Bar in 2013, and a few years later, began Handle With Care, a mental health awareness movement within the HB community.

“I have experienced intimately, the heartache that mental illness and its stigma can impose on a loved one, and because of this I am passionate about speaking out, fighting stigma and celebrating the resources available to those struggling and their families,” Fracalossi said in a statement. “I am honored to collaborate with The Busyhead Project for this event — unifying music, movement, and mental health.”

The event is at 7:30 a.m. on Friday, July 19 at Fenway Park’s Sam Adams Deck, Gate B. Tickets can be purchased here.
