Nicolas Bos Is Richemont Group’s New CEO
Nicolas Bos is heading to the luxury Swiss conglomerate Compagnie Financière Richemont S.A. (Richemont) as its new CEO.
Bos hails from Van Cleef & Arpels where he has held the positions of President and CEO since 2013. However, he’s been with the jewelry brand since 2000. Set to begin his post at Richemont on June 1, Bos will oversee the conglomerate’s portfolio, which includes brands like Cartier, Alaïa, Chloé, Buccellati, A. Lange & Söhne and Jaeger-LeCoultre.
“His vision and ability to uphold Van Cleef & Arpels’ tradition of excellence and creativity have been critical to the Maison’s remarkable growth,” said Richemont Chairman Johann Rupert. “Building on Richemont’s expanded scale and stronger cous on retail and jewelry, Nicolas will steer the group through the next phase of its evolution.”
Stüssy Is Opening an Archive Store in NYC This Weekend
Stüssy has opened an all-new archive store in Brooklyn, New York. But interested parties better hurry as the store is just open for one month.
Opening today, the shop features pieces from the complete Stüssy lifespan including vintage classics, sold-out collaborations and hidden gems. Alongside clothing, the store is also set to include furniture, art and design pieces.
The one-month Stüssy Archive New York store is located at 369 Court Street in Brooklyn, New York 11231.
Hedi Slimane Composes a Psychedelic Menswear Orchestra for CELINE Winter 2024
Hedi Slimane is silencing the rumors of his CELINE departure with his new Winter 2024 menswear collection for the house. But instead of taking to the runway, the designer opted for an elaborate 14-minute and 34-second video entitled Symphonie Fantastique.
Inspired partly by Hector Berlioz’s 1830 work, the video blends classic and contemporary elements – revealing models walking down a deserted desert highway with black helicopters and black 1960s cars.
The collection is a testament to formal menswear and elevated everyday ensembles via collarless blazers with capes, pinstripe pea coats, glittering suits, signature motorcycle jackets, flared pants and more. The entire lot featured 43 looks with 12 couture ensembles.
Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 Is a Balancing Act of Time and Style
For 10 years Nicolas Ghesquière has been the women’s creative director at Louis Vuitton and even though he’s a decade in, the designer is still refining his image of the LV woman. So for the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2025 collection, the house headed to Antoni Gaudi’s Hypostyle Room at Park Güell in Barcelona, Spain.
The beauty in the latest collection rests in its balancing act performance. Traversing Spanish personalities and style notes, cultural inspirations and time, the collection meanders the fashion space with reverence for class and modernity.
“I wanted to respect the place we are,” Ghesquière told Vogue Runway. “I love that this country is evocating a certain groundedness and some rigor, and in the meantime it’s about freedom, it’s about youngness, it’s about an extravagance somehow.”
Jacob Elordi Is Pretty In Pink as Bottega Veneta’s New Brand Ambassador
Jacob Elordi has joined Bottega Veneta as its new brand ambassador. In the role, the tv and movie star is set to represent the brand in red carpets, campaigns and public events/outings.
Pretty in pink, the announcement saw Elordi in a double-layered v-neck knit sweater with a popped collar in a deep pink hue. To top it off, the actor strikes a cutesy pose with his hands above his head mimicking bunny ears.
RIMOWA Links up With Aimé Leon Dore for New Collaboration
RIMOWA has a deep history of collaboration. To further this catalog the brand has now teamed up with the popular NYC imprint Aimé Leon Dore for a new collaboration.
By joining forces, the brands fuse the golden age of travel with their love for timeless, elevated designs. Comprising the collection is the RIMOWA x AIMÉ LEON DORE Chest and the RIMOWA x AIMÉ LEON DORE Cabin. The handcrafted, Germany-made pieces take on Aimé Leon Dore’s signature green shade.
Inside the pieces, you’ll find a bespoke resilient nylon lining that features a pattern of ancient Greek stamp iconography by the NYC brand. Other special details across the Chest and Cabin include gold-plated hardware, brown leather-made handles and straps and co-branded leather-covered logo badges with gold embossing.
