New shopping centre with ‘highest restaurant’ and Tube entrance

A brand new 14-storey development with shops, restaurants and offices has announced its line up for a full opening this Autumn, including 20 retailers, a Market Halls over two floors plus a new Bakerloo line Tube entrance and a rooftop bar and restaurant.

Set to open in 2025, the primary restaurant at Paddington Square, located adjacent to Paddington Station, will stand as West London’s highest open-air rooftop dining experience, offering unbeatable views stretching from The Wembley Arch to Canary Wharf. The panoramic view largely features Hyde Park, showcasing scenes of the West End and City Skylines.




Opening sooner, towards the end of the summer, will be the new entrance to the Bakerloo line. It will offer a larger space for the Bakerloo, District and Circle lines plus the Elizabeth line and can be accessed from the Paddington Square piazza with step-free access to all levels.

Amongst this will be a new shopping and dining experience, with confirmed names including Wahaca and Gail’s first to open. Other convenience offers scheduled to open in coming months include Pret A Manger, Starbucks, Holland and Barrett and retailers such as Russell and Bromley, Mango and Kiki Milano. Once fully open there will be 33 retail units and four restaurants.

The Market Halls will span over two floors and feature 2 bars, 7 kitchens offering cuisine from around the world, and an outdoor dining area. The new public piazza will also offer outdoor seating areas under the building’s canopy as well as a new, commissioned public art programme with works from numerous internationally esteemed artists. These will include artworks from names such as Ugo Rondionone, Pae White, Catherine Yass and Kathrin Bohm.

Alongside these displays will be a rotational site for temporary showcases of art through a partnership with The Showroom, a public contemporary art space at Tanner Lane. Additionally, Paddington Square provides 350,000 sq. ft of modern working spaces across 14 office floors. The building will feature contactless entry, a gym, a café and bar and communal areas.
