Must read

The 2023/24 Premier League season may have only just come to an end but Tottenham have already strengthened their squad ahead of next campaign. Tuesday evening saw clarity arrive regarding Timo Werner’s future after initially joining Spurs on loan back in January.

Amid question marks over whether the Lilywhites would sign the attacker on a permanent basis due to a clause in their agreement with RB Leipzig, the two clubs have now agreed on a fresh season-long loan for the 28-year-old. Spurs once again hold an option to buy the player on a permanent basis, with the fee set at £8.5million.

Tottenham fans will be hoping that there are a number of new arrivals to follow Werner through the door as Ange Postecoglou prepares for the upcoming campaign. The Australian has already made it clear that he would like to strengthen in attack, with the team certainly needing a new striker and an additional winger.

Nottingham Forest’s Callum Hudson-Odoi has been linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium over the past week after an excellent campaign at the City Ground. However, football.london understands that despite previous links to Tottenham, Spurs are not one of the interested parties this time around.

So who exactly would be a good option for the Lilywhites when it comes to strengthening on the wings ahead of the 2024/25 season? football.london takes a look below.
