Brand new details, such as the release date, for the upcoming GTA Online update have just been confirmed by Rockstar Games. The company finally gave us a name, date and more content details on Tuesday.
Bottom Dollar Bounties is the game of this upcoming content drop and it’ll thrust you into a bounty hunter life. Fans of police vehicles should also be excited for this update. Rockstar also tease a little bit about the future of GTA Online…
Story Info
According to Rockstar Games, Maude Eccles of Blaine County is on the hunt for new bounty enforcers and a future owner of Bottom Dollar Bail Enforcement. In this new GTA Online update, you’ll be working alongside Maude’s daughter Jenette to hunt people across southern San Andreas and claim rewards.
Alongside the written details, Rockstar gave us a trailer showing off some of the content in action along with a screenshot and key art (featured image at the top of the article) for this DLC.
Included in this update will be several new Law Enforcement Vehicles which you can use in Dispatch Work for LSPD Officer Vincent Effenburger. We can see a few of them in the trailer that Rockstar created for this new content drop.

Bottom Dollar Bounties Release Date
As expected, the release date of the next GTA Online update is Tuesday June 25th. Whilst fans used patterns from Rockstar to work out the date ahead of time, at least Rockstar have now officially confirmed it a week in advance.
On the same day, a new GTA+ month will launch. As part of this new month of perks, we know from Rockstar that the previously announced Överflöd Pipistrello super car will be free for all GTA+ Members.
This car is new to GTA Online as part of the upcoming update. Rockstar Games also revealed earlier this month the Pipistrello will be able to be purchased by non-GTA+ members a week after the update launches.
As always, this update will come to all currently supported GTA Online platforms: PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC. We expect a PS5 and PS4 pre-load to go live 24-48 hours before 10am UK time on June 25th. We’ll report on our site if this is the case like previous GTA Online updates.
For more info on this update such as gameplay tweaks, creator additions, and much more, we reported on other content coming in this update here.
What’s next?
Rockstar Games subtlety mention that there will be “tons more all arriving in GTA Online throughout summer and beyond.” What could this be? Aside from “new vehicles and experience updates” Rockstar remain tight-lipped. We’ll have to wait and find out. With GTA 6 releasing in Fall 2025, it’s no surprise GTA Online will continue to get updates.
