There is a multiple car pile-up on a major Sydney highway with people being treated at the scene and motorists stuck in traffic.
The major crash on M1 Pacific Motorway, approaching Ku-Ring-Gai Chase Road, occurred around 5.47pm on Sunday at Mt Colah, in Northern Sydney.
A NSW Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia four vehicles were involved in the incident.
Two people were reportedly trapped in the wreckage but are understood to have now been freed.

Paramedics are treating two people at the scene and multiple police and fire and rescue crews are also in attendance.
The pile-up has caused the closure of lane three south-bound and motorists have been warned to exercise caution and to expect delays.
