M&S’ new £40 leopard print dress that’s set to be a sell-out

Must read

If there’s one high street brand that’s impressing fashion fans everywhere with their latest launches, it’s Marks and Spencer. From their £35 bandeau midi dress which is now incredibly ‘low in stock’, to the denim dress that’s racked up over 75 five star reviews – and now, our fashion writers have found the next viral dress for the summer.

When we spotted this Animal Print Round Neck Midaxi Tea Dress for under £40 , we couldn’t wait to add it to our baskets. Not only is it in what’s arguably the most on trend print of the season, but it’s ‘universally flattering’ and ‘chic enough for more formal occasions’, according to The Mirror.

The dress has a regular fit that gathers at the waist before flaring out slightly into a loose skirt giving it a relaxed feel, whilst the puff sleeves and longer hemline make it look smart and chic enough for more formal occasions. It’s made from a lightweight material that’s airy enough to see you through the summer months, but you could just as easily pair it with chunky boots and a wool coat for autumn and winter.

The midaxi length is universally flattering, falling to mid-shin on the 5’9” model, however you can also shop it in regular, petite and long lengths. The dress is also available in sizes 6-24, and has just landed on the M&S website as part of its new collection.

Beauty and wellness editor, Laura Mulley described it as the ‘perfect example of a dress that does it all ’. She added: “Everything from the print to the design to the fit means it can be worn for any occasion, whether it’s a Saturday morning brunch with friends paired with some platform sandals, dressed up with heels and statement jewellery for a wedding, or worn with a pair of colourful trainers and a bomber jacket for a casual date night.”

It comes as leopard print is one of this year’s must-have prints and it’s having a serious moment right now. You can’t open a magazine or scroll through social media without spotting leopard print on everything from trousers and dresses to shoes and handbags, and it’s not hard to see why. The print has long been considered a neutral when it comes to styling, pairing perfectly with just about any colour or silhouette and working for almost any occasion imaginable.

However, if you do decide it’s M&S’s dress that has your heart, because it’s over £35, it means those who shop the dress this summer will be able to pick up the hotly anticipated M&S Summer Beauty Bag 2024 for £30. The bundle contains a selection of makeup, skincare and haircare and is worth over £170 .

Inside this year’s bag are 12 products including four full-sized items and eight deluxe samples, which are perfect for any summer trips you may have planned. This year’s bundle includes beauty must-haves from big-name brands like Color Wow, Clinique, Pixi and more .
