An actor who mysteriously disappeared in Mexico City was found dead last Friday in Mexico City.
James Hollcroft had not been seen or heard from since September 3 when he was returning to his residence in the Mexican capital’s neighborhood of Tizapán, according to his sister, Jane Hollcroft.
The home happens to be near the Artistic Education Center, the acting school that the 26-year-old actor attended, and which is operated by Televisa, one of Mexico’s major media companies.
The Artistic Education Center confirmed his death on their Facebook page on Friday evening.

‘Thank you for all those good times we spent together during your acting training,’ the school said. ‘We will carry you in our memories and in our hearts, you will always be part of our CEA family, farewell dear James Hollcroft.’
Local authorities or the actor’s family have not provided details surrounding his death.
‘I will love you forever, thank you for the years we shared together and for having given me the most magnificent moments I have ever experienced,’ Jane wrote in a heartbreaking post Saturday. ‘You will always be present in our hearts, little brother.’
James Hollcroft appeared in several episodes of ‘Como dice el dicho’ (As the saying goes), a Televisa drama based on real-life events.
He also had a role in the 11th season of the play, ‘Dime que sí’ (Tell me yes), which is now in its 16th season at Teatro en Breve.

James Hollcroft’s death stunned the acting community and his loved ones.
‘I love you, I love you so much,’ Luis Duval wrote in a now-deleted post on his Instagram Stories. ‘I’m going to miss you. Fly high my boy. I will always remember how great you are.’
‘I wish that everything is just another dream,’ his brother-in-law Arturo Avila said on Facebook. ‘Thank you for being the brother that you were, the uncle that you were with your nephews, the great son that you were.
‘We are going to miss you a lot, this really breaks my heart,’ he added. ‘Today we are lowering the curtain here but I know that you are in heaven doing that great staging that you talked so much about.’
