SNK has today launched Metal Slug Attack Reloaded, seeing the classic arcade series taking the guise of tower defence game. An updated version of the 2016 mobile game, Metal Slug Attack, the Reloaded version of the game features a “revamped experience”, with the original 2D pixel art and “strategic depth”.
Metal Slug Attack Reloaded enables you to build a deck from more than 300 unique characters, across five distinct factions, including the Regular Army, Rebel Army, and Space Army, before heading into battle offline or in online multiplayer against other players.
There’s the Room Battle mode in which you can take on friends, or Matching Battle to compete against other players from around the world for the title of ‘Super Devil’. New human-alien hybrid character Mostro also joins the fray exclusively on console, while the ‘Another Story’ mode offers a collection of tales featuring new and familiar Metal Slug characters.
Metal Slug Attack Reloaded is out now for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC, priced $9.99/£8.99/€9.99.
