Meghan’s’ ridiculous’ mistake blasted as she’s accused of attacking Kate

Meghan Markle was brutally savaged by a royal expert over her latest “joke” of a move during this year’s Trooping the Colour ceremony.

Saturday saw the Royal Family united once again as the Princess of Wales made her first public appearance in six months after her cancer diagnosis earlier this year.

Princess Kate announced she would be attending King Charles’s birthday parade the previous day, while she also gave an update on her health, saying that her treatment is ongoing and that she has “some good days and some bad days”.

Meanwhile, just mere hours before the Trooping celebrations began in London, it was revealed that the Duchess of Sussex had sent two new products of her latest lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard, to her and Prince Harry‘s friend, polo player Nacho Figueras.

Mr Figueras took to social media to show the new merchandise – a jar of raspberry jam, only two of which were made and dog biscuits.

The move was generally viewed negatively by royal fans who criticised the timing of Meghan’s move.

Now a royal commentator joined in on the criticism and slammed Meghan for the brand’s latest “silly” and “ridiculous” move.

Veteran royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told the Sun: “Megan and Harry know perfectly well every single thing they do is monitored by the press.

“The idea that they would do something on the day of Trooping the Colour. I mean, it’s pretty silly.”

The royal expert pointed out that there were only two jam jars made in the latest patch and questioned the point and impact it would her on her brand.

He said: “The label on the jar said two of two, if she’s only going to send two jars out, what on earth is the point?”

“I don’t think it’s been thought out. This makes no public relations sense. It’s ridiculous.”

Mr Fitzwilliams blasted the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for “never” caring about royal protocol and added: “Meghan would not have been advised to do this by any of her public relations consultants. This is something of a joke.

“It’s very, very odd. If she just sent the jam to a friend, she should have asked him not to post it, because otherwise it clearly makes them objects to mockery.”
