In the teaser, Meghan gracefully snips some fresh salad leaves from a picture-perfect garden and selects flowers from a bougie market. She bakes a cake in a positively enormous kitchen (not hers, apparently) and decorates it with flowers made from raspberries and herb leaves. Peonies are arranged in a bowl. Olive oil is drizzled over hummus and reverently placed in the centre of the most California-crunchy looking board of veggie dippers. Edible flowers are frozen into ice cubes. Mindy Kaling is there, for some reason. “We’re not in the pursuit of perfection,” Meghan trills, glossy hair perfectly waved and a soft-looking cream sweater draped over her shoulders like a sexy coastal grandmother.
