Meghan Markle’s close friend has taken to Instagram to praise the duchess after the Netflix trailer for her new show was released yesterday.
The series, WITH LOVE, MEGHAN, will air on January 15 and is set to show a snippet of Meghan’s life behind closed doors as she shares “tips and tricks” on cooking and hosting.
In the trailer, the duchess, 43, was seen in a kitchen with a number of her friends as they prepared and ate meals together.
Among these friends was American actress Abigail Spencer, who starred on Suits alongside Meghan before the duchess married Prince Harry in 2018.
It is believed the friends have remained close since, with Abigail having been photographed on social media before the Netflix trailer at Meghan and Harry’s Californian mansion a number of times.
Ahead of the show’s release date, Abigail has taken to her own Instagram account to praise Meghan, describing the duchess with just words – “she’s magic”.
On an Instagram post just hours ago, Abigail shared the Netflix trailer and wrote: “Happy New Year! WITH LOVE, MEGHAN premieres January 15th!
“She’s magic. Love you so @meghan.”
The post received over two hundred comments within hours, with many fans praising the pair’s long-standing friendship.
One person wrote: “So excited to see this! And you two together – let’s go!”
Another said: “Thank you for your unwavering love and support for her. You are a special friend, and we love you.”
A third commented: “Women support women, love the long-time friendship.”
In a full description of the upcoming series, Netflix said: “Meghan shares personal tips and tricks, embracing playfulness over perfection and highlights how easy it can be to create beauty, even in the unexpected. She and her guests roll up their sleeves in the kitchen, the garden, and beyond, and invite you to do the same.”
