Meghan and Kate’s relationship ‘doomed’ from Duchess’s three-word dig

An incident involving a fashion designer allegedly sparked the feud between Meghan Markle and Princess Kate, it has been claimed.

The Duchess of Sussex was behind Kate in the queue for the latest outfits from a top designer, allegedly causing tensions to rise, according to The Telegraph.

Meghan was a fan of British designer Erdem Moraloglu’s clothes, but it has been claimed that her future sister-in-law – an existing customer – was given first dibs.

This reportedly upset the now US-based royal who had worn his dresses to several engagements before joining the Royal Family.

After becoming a royal, Meghan did not publicly wear the respected designer’s outfits until 2019, according to the publication. The fact that the clothes were handed to Kate first is said to have gone down badly with the Sussexes.

Majesty Magazine’s editor-in-chief and royal biographer, Ingrid Seward, thinks Kate will be “upset and angry” with Harry for publicly discussing her.

In Netflix‘s three-part docuseries ‘Harry and Meghan’, the Duchess revealed that she deliberately wore neutral colours while living in the UK to avoid matching with other royals.

She explained: “To my understanding, you can’t ever wear the same colour as Her Majesty if there’s a group event. But then you also should never be wearing the same colour as one of the other more senior members of the family.”
