Suri Cruise marked the end of her high school journey with a traditional prom experience this week – and she did so on the arm of a very dashing date, who DailyMail.com can now exclusively identify as budding musician Toby Cohen.
Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise‘s daughter was spotted holding hands with the dashing singer as she headed to the high school dance in New York City on Wednesday afternoon.
Now, DailyMail.com can reveal that the guy who accompanied her to the event is fellow LaGuardia High School senior Toby.
According to his Instagram, Toby is a singer and songwriter who is set to attend the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston in the fall.
The teenager is extremely passionate about music, and often shares videos of himself performing covers of popular songs to YouTube and TikTok.

He’s belted out Whitney Houston‘s I Wanna Dance With Somebody and Celine Dion’s Singing In the Stairs, to name a few.
Based on his videos, not only can he sing, but he can also play piano and guitar.
In addition, he’s written some original tracks, including a song called Blindly, and another entitled I Know Who You Know, the latter of which he performed for his school.
The budding star, who has racked up 97,000 likes across his TikTok videos.
At age 13, he performed a stunning rendition of Bruce Springsteen’s Thunder Road for a charity concert.
Toby – who slightly resembles Suri’s estranged father Tom – was spotted holding hands with Suri, 18, as they entered their prom at the Ascent Lounge together.
The brunette beauty looked stunning in a maroon and white print dress which contained a bustier top that came in at the waistline, accentuating her slim figure, and a skirt that went to her knees.
She completed the look with high-heeled gold strappy shoes and left her long locks in loose waves.

While exiting the event afterwards, the pair stopped to posed for some photos with friends, and he put his hands around her waist.
DailyMail.com previously revealed that Suri has been accepted into Pittsburgh’s prestigious Carnegie Mellon University – which is about a two-hour flight, or a nine-hour drive from Berklee, where Toby will be studying.
