Money saving expert Martin Lewis has announced he is taking a lengthy break from all things financial in order to spend time with his family.
The founder of Money Saving Expert has had ‘quite a week’ between the announcement of the General Election and the confirmation of a new Ofgem price cap for gas and electricity bills today.
And now Martin has let his disappointed fans know he’s decided to step away to spend time with his family for at least 10 days.
Followers hoping for financial guidance from his popular X (formerly Twitter) account will have to wait until after half-term as Martin elects to spend half term with his daughter Sapphire.
Martin said: “Wow it’s been quite a day! Quite a week!
“So I’m pleased to say – I’m off. Off social & work that is, as it’s Mini MSE’s half term, so I’m taking off my MoneySavingExpert cap, and replacing it with my ‘daddy’ one.
“Hope you have a great week. See you a week Monday.”
Fans were sad to see Martin go but wished him well for his break.
