The presenter, 31, gushed over his close relationship with his parents Martin and Shirlie Holliman as he revealed the example they have set has made him want a family of his own.
Speaking in an interview with Heat magazine, Roman admitted that he has also been concerned about his own infertility and went for a sperm check last year.
The star confessed to the publication: ‘I’m terrified of not having kids. That is my biggest thing. I even went to have a sperm check when I was 30. I’m such a family orientated person. ‘
Roman and his dad Martin are known for their close bond after first appearing on Celebrity Gogglebox together in 2019.
The pair also present their ITV breakfast programme Martin & Roman’s Weekend Best! and now host their own podcast FFS! My Dad Is Martin Kemp.
Paying tribute to his famous parents and the example they’ve set he said: ‘I love my mum and dad…I ‘m so grateful for the life that I’ve been able to have, growing up in the family that I had, that I couldn’t think of anything better.
‘I’ve always said to my friends like, no matter what job comes up they’ll know that I’m truly happy when I call them to say I’m going to have a baby.’

Roman was previously in a three year relationship with his former girlfriend Anne-Sophie Flury, however the couple split in 2020.
He has since been linked to radio colleague Codie Jones and German model Jette Kerkoff but never confirmed a relationship with either.
The star also joked that he doesn’t care about being called a nepobaby as it hasn’t hindered his career in the entertainment industry.
He candidly admitted that he finds it fun and if his dad could have lined up jobs for him he would have done them, just as he would try to help his future children get where they want to go in life.
Roman also opened about his depression as he admitted he doesn’t see himself ever living without antidepressants.
