Manchester United should have no problem offering an extra £50million to sign Michael Olise, according to Dwight Yorke.
The Crystal Palace winger looks to be on his way to Bayern Munich in a £50.7m move with the German giants winning the race for the Frenchman ahead of Chelsea, Newcastle, and United themselves.
United had long been reported to field interest in Olise but a deal wasn’t on the cards. Despite his impending move to Bavaria, Yorke insisted that United should offer double what Bayern offered in order to clinch the signing of the talented winger and thinks the 22-year-old could be worth a nine-figure sum.

Speaking to Crypto Sports Betting, the 1999 Treble winner said: “Man United should have wrapped up signing Michael Olise already, you can see the boy is a class act and would blossom at the club. He’s taken his opportunity at Crystal Palace and impressed.”
The 52-year-old, who scored 65 goals in 152 games in Manchester, said offering a fee above £100m should be no problem for United considering they forked out £85m for Antony who’s been a colossal flop in his two years at Old Trafford.
“Nowadays, that kind of player will be worth easily at least £50m, but if Man United are signing Antony for £85m, they will probably pay upwards of £100m for Olise. Man United can’t complain what Palace value Olise at if they’re seeing how much money was spent on the likes of Antony.”
With Erik ten Hag nearing a contract extension, plenty of names have been rumoured to be of interest of the Dutchman who’ll no doubt be under pressure to deliver a much-improved league campaign after finishing a lowly eighth in the Premier League this past season.
Ten Hag, however, did deliver a second consecutive trophy at the club after defeating Manchester City 2-1 in the FA Cup – a result that many believed saved his job.
