Manchester United have held talks with Juventus over the potential sale of striker Mason Greenwood, talkSPORT understands.
Juve are one of several European clubs interested in signing Greenwood along with Italian rivals Napoli.
Greenwood looks set to finally leave Manchester United on a permanent deal and the Premier League side are asking for £50m.
He spent last season on loan with Getafe, having joined the Spanish side on the final day of the summer transfer window.
United announced last August that he would continue his career away from the club following an internal investigation.
The young striker was arrested on suspicion of rape, assault and making threats to kill in January 2022 after images and videos surfaced online.
He was suspended by the Red Devils and denied the allegations against him.
The charges were dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February 2023, but an internal investigation was conducted by United.
United later confirmed Greenwood will not return to play for them.
At the time, he said: “The best decision for us all, is for me to continue my football career away from Old Trafford, where my presence will not be a distraction for the club.
“I thank the club for their support since I joined aged seven. There will always be a part of me which is United.”
He went on to play 33 times for Getafe in LaLiga, scoring eight times and adding six assists.
The Madrid-based club are keen to bring the Englishman back in another loan agreement and have made contact with United over a second deal for the 2024/25 season.
However, he now could head to Italy on a permanent deal.
