Stefan Ortega will step in while Ederson is absent, and City’s second-choice goalkeeper gave a very good account of himself against Tottenham.

With City leading 1-0 courtesy of goal from Erling Haaland, Ortega made a crucial save to deny Son Heung-min late on. Haaland proceeded to make it 2-0 to City from the penalty spot.

City are two points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table going into the final weekend, with Pep Guardiola’s side looking to win the title for the fourth season in succession.

Ederson has played a key part for City this season, keeping 13 clean sheets in 33 Premier League games.

However, the 30-year-old will have to watch on from the sidelines as City look to get over the line in the title race and also secure glory in the FA Cup.
