MAFS bride hits back after wearing a racy dress to Fashion Week

Married At First Sight bride Jade Pywell has hit back nasty trolls who slammed her choice of outfit at Australian Fashion Week.

The season 11 star, who is currently dating her TV groom Ridge Barredo, turned heads at Sydney‘s Carriageworks last week in a plunging black gown that showed off her ample cleavage and legs thanks to its thigh high split.

In a post shared to her Instagram account on Friday, Jade celebrated the end of Fashion Week with a video compilation from one of the nights, while also calling out the negative comments aimed at her.

‘Last of the fashion week spam,’ he post began.

‘Before commenting on this post or anyone else’s post like a negative Nancy. Think to yourself, is this comment going to make me a better person? Does this post affect me in anyway or can I keep scrolling and ignore it? Will I feel happier with my day by adding a hateful comment? Should I just block her and not have to see her posts?

‘Please remember this is my Instagram, I am well in my rights to post what I want, just as much as you guys are well in your rights to comment nasty things, however I do personally think you would be happier on the inside if you didn’t let things bother you so much.’

Jade, 26, concluded her post by adding: ‘I read all the nice comments and love and appreciate them so much. The negative comments have no impact on me. You’re not ruining my day, you’re ruining your own by going out of your way to spread hate xo.’

The Queensland-based executive assistant’s post was met with several compliments in the comments from fans.

‘A queen never leaves her throne to address a peasant throwing stones. Always gorgeous,’ one user wrote.

Her fellow MAFS co-star added: ‘Cheering you on in all your gloriousness, your beauty, your sass, your cheeky, your generous heart. All of it.’

‘If you have the chance, don’t hesitate to show off. You both look absolutely stunning. Keep living your best lives and doing what works for you,’ another fan added.

It comes after several fans and followers dissed the star’s dress at the star-studded event.

‘No class,’ one troll said, while another added, ‘Seriously put some clothes on..You are beautiful and don’t need to lower yourself.’

‘Soooo desperate! Why is she acting like this? Poor daughter!’ said another.

It comes after Jade and Ridge, 27, revealed they are taking the next step in their relationship after meeting and falling in love on the Channel Nine dating show last year.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at Australian Fashion Week, the couple revealed plans to move in together.

‘Your man’s moving up the Gold Coast. I’ll see you on the 28th on the Goldie,’ he shared.

Jade also expressed her excitement about Ridge’s move, gushing: ‘I am looking forward to Ridge moving in, yes.’

When asked if there was room for him at her place, she assured ‘There is space for Ridge’, to which Ridge cheekily quipped: ‘She’s got a room for me, as Jack would say to Tori.’

Jade explained that life post-MAFS has been has been a whirlwind.

‘We have enjoyed it. It’s crazy busy with everyday activities and everyday life and events here and there. So it’s been good,’ she added.
