Thousands of loyal Liverpool fans have lined the streets around Anfield stadium this afternoon to say a final farewell to Jurgen Klopp.
Reds of all ages have turned up in Klopp tops, with scarves, banners, and even cut-out masks of the departing LFC boss’ face. Back in January the 56-year-old announced he would be leaving at the end of the season.
During his nine years with the club he has won seven trophies – including a sixth European Cup and ending a 30-year wait to win the Premier League.

Ahead of LFC’s final game under Klopp – Wolves at home – thousands of people have arrived at Anfield stadium waiting for him and the Liverpool team to arrive. ECHO reporters at the stadium have said there is a huge “party atmosphere” with lots of flares and singing.
Former LFC star John Aldridge simply said on X: “It’s mad outside the hotel Anfield folks”, adding a video showing hundreds of people wearing red and chanting “Allez Allez Allez”.
It comes after hundreds of people gathered outside the Titanic Hotel earlier today hoping to catch a glimpse of Klopp on his final day as Liverpool manager.
