Among the items getting axed are the beloved Biscoff McFlurry and the Chicken Big Mac.

Not only that but the limited edition Biscoff Frappe is also making an exit after just six weeks.

Fans of the iconic Quarter Pounder burger will be gutted to learn that the deluxe version is being taken off too.

Not only that but the Galaxy Caramel Pie which first hit menus last December is also on its way out, as well as the Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry.

The Cheese and Herb Melts will also on be available until the end of the day.

The new and returning items landed on menus across the UK and Ireland on April 17.

These dishes were only ever meant to be around for six weeks as part of the regular menu shakeup.

If you’re keen to give them a go you have until your local restaurant shuts to pick them up.

The Biscoff Frappe costs £2.99 and has a vanilla flavour base, blended with ice and Biscoff crumb.

Elsewhere the new Cheese and Herb melts are made from a blend of Emmental and mozzarella cheese in a herb-infused breadcrumb with a tomato dip.

It’s then topped with two cheese slices and served in a toasted sesame seed-topped bun or make it a double with an extra beef patty.

Or you can get a Quarter Deluxe medium meal for £6.59 including fries and a drink.

The Galaxy Caramel Pie is a Galaxy-flavoured caramel sauce encased in a crispy chocolate pastry and costs £1.99.

How to make your own McDonald’s guide

What’s being added to menus?

Fans will be able to pick up a new burger, Skittles McFlurry and the returning iced latte from tomorrow.

A new burger called the Hat Trick will also be added to menus on May 29.

The burger holds three beef patties, two slices of cheese, grilled onions, mustard and ketchup encased in a glazed sesame bun.

It will be available to buy in McDonald’s restaurants for £5.89 as a single item and £7.69 as part of a medium meal with a drink and a side.

The seven other items being added to menus include fan-favourite mozzarella bites.

Each bite comes with a gooey cheese centre covered in a crispy coating and served with a rich tomato dip.

You’ll be able to nab them in restaurants for £2.39.

Fans of chicken selects will be thrilled to know that they will be able to grab a box of nine for £8.49 for the first time.

The chain is also adding a chicken sharebox to its offering, which comes with six chicken selects, 12 chicken nuggets and four dips.

Sweet-toothed customers will be keen on the new Skittle McFlurry, on menus for £2.19.

The pudding combines soft-swirled dairy ice cream with chewy Skittles fudge pieces and sugary pearls, topped with purple Skittles-flavoured sauce.

The fast food chain also confirmed a new Selects dip trio is coming to menus with two others leaving for good.

Chicken Selects can now be served with a new and improved Garlic Mayo and Sweet and Smoky BBQ, as well as the already popular Sweet Chilli.

This means fans will need to say goodbye to the Sour cream and Chive dip as well as the Smoky BBQ dip.

How to save money at McDonald’s

You might not think it, but you can end up paying more solely based on the McDonald’s restaurant you choose.

The Sun has found a Big Mac meal can be up to 30p cheaper at restaurants just two miles apart from each other.

Meanwhile, you can pick up a Big Mac and fries for just £2.99 by filling in a feedback survey found on any old McDonald’s receipt.

The receipt should come with a 12-digit code which you can enter into the Food for Thought website alongside your submitted survey.

You’ll then receive a five-digit code which is your voucher for the £2.99 offer.

Make sure you check out all the various apps and platforms if you’re ordering McDonald’s to your home too.

Our research found some can charge up to £1.20 more than others.
