Self-taught artist Roman Feral has certainly carved a niche for himself in the contemporary luxury art scene by skillfully merging traditional craftsmanship with innovative techniques in his luxury fashion sculptures. The artist’s latest installation — the ‘Hermes Bronze Monumental, 2023’ — is currently showcased at the prestigious Lotte New York Palace. The piece represents a significant milestone in Feral’s artistic journey.
Roman Feral develops his luxury fashion sculptures in collaboration with the renowned Bocquel Art Foundry, known for its work with modern masters like César and Arman. Each piece is meticulously crafted with bronze butterflies and iconic fashion elements. The process involves over 90 hours of hand-polishing and utilizes more than 30 kilos of bronze, demonstrating Feral’s commitment to achieving precision akin to that of a goldsmith.
