DUMPED Love Island star Samantha Kenny finally got her revenge on Joey Essex as she returned to the villa for an epic showdown.
Liverpudlian Samantha was sent packing after Joey Essex decided to recouple with Grace Jackson earlier in the series.
Samantha had spent two weeks with the ex Towie star and thought the pair had formed a strong connection.
But Joey immediately had his head turned when ex Grace entered the villa and quickly ditched her Samantha, leaving her single.
In tonight’s show, Maya revealed the results of last night’s vote.
Samantha returned with the rest of the ex Islanders and was ready to settle an old score with Joey.
As drama ensues around the fire pit, Samantha took a dig at Joey saying: “It is a really hard decision, I haven’t met half of you because I was only here for two weeks.
Samantha continued: “I do think he has a lot of opinions on everyone else’s relationship but as soon as it comes to his own he bites the bullet a bit doesn’t he. Personally, I don’t think that this person deserves to be in the final so I’m picking Jess and Joey.”
Maya then asked if Joey wanted to respond and he said: “It was nothing ever personal on my end, there’s no hard feelings.
“I was sad when she left, she might feel different about me.”
But a furious Samantha hit back: “You were lying to my face for two weeks,” leaving Joey confused.
She went on: “You saying to me we were one of the strongest couples in here and saying that you liked me as much as I liked you but then saying to Grace it was a friendship couple.”
Joey tried to defend himself and said: “We were in a friendship couple,” to which Samantha fired back: “We went on a date, we weren’t in a friendship couple, I don’t know why you’re saying that.”
The Essex lad told her: “There was never a spark there.”
A shocked Samantha was left open-mouthed and said: “Wow, why didn’t you tell me that.”
Joey told her that he had made his feelings clear throughout their time together, but Samantha branded him a “bare-faced liar”.
“You never said to me that there weren’t a spark, wow,” she fumed.
Joey replied: “We tried to make it work but it did work out.”
An angry Samantha said: “I’m a big girl I can take it, for two weeks you think you know if you’ve got a spark after a week.”
Joey then took a brutal swipe and said he can “barely remember what happened two months ago”.
His comment didn’t go down well with Samantha and she ranted that he was “cheeky”.
On tonight’s show, Maya dropped a huge bombshell as she welcomed back the past Islanders to the villa.
The host told the Islanders “Your future on Love Island will be decided by some very familiar faces.”
Led by the first dumped Islander of the series Sam and followed by Patsy, Munveer, Samantha, Omar, Harriett, Ronnie, Uma, Wil, Jess, Hugo, Grace and Reuben, they all gathered around the fire pit.
Having returned to the Villa, the ex Islanders now held the power to decide which couple they think should be dumped from the Island.
Love Island fans were rooting for Samantha as she finally put Joey in his place.
One wrote: “Joey may have been a heartbreaker but it was Samantha who had the last laugh.”
A second posted: “Grace and Joey getting booted in the same week? Samantha really won.”
A third said: “The way Joey spoke to Samantha and Reuben??? Him getting dumped is not enough karma for me, I need more.”
Joey and Jessy received a total of seven votes and as a result were sent home – narrowly missing out on tomorrow’s final.
Jessy was left in tears as she said her goodbye, while Joey admitted it had been a tough journey.
During Monday’s episode, one lucky couple will be crowned the winners of the 11th series and take home the £50,000 cash prize.
There will now only be four couples bidding for the life-changing amount of money.
The finalists include Nicole and Ciaran, Ayo and Jess, Sean and Matilda and Mimii and Joshua.
On Fridays’ episode, sweet seller Sean Stone got a text that told stars to go off in their pairs and pick the two couples they believed wouldn’t last on the outside world.
Aside from Ciaran Davies and Nicole Samuel, who are the only official boyfriend and girlfriend in the villa, each pair received at least one vote.
This meant out of the remaining couples, either Sean and Matilda Draper, Mimii Ngulube and Josh Oyinsan, Ayo Odukoya and Jess S, and Joey Essex and Jessy Potts were at risk.
