Former Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has broken her silence for the first time since announcing her split from Tommy Fury.
Molly-Mae posted a photo of herself looking resolute on Instagram on Tuesday night (August 27), along with a message to those who have supported her.
“Thank you for being the best online friends I could’ve ever wished for,” she wrote.
The reality star had previously remained silent on social media after initially posting a statement on her Instagram Story on August 14 to confirm the split.
“Never in a million years did I think I’d ever have to write this,” she wrote. “After five years of being together I never imagined our story would end, especially not this way.
“I am extremely upset to announce that mine and Tommy’s relationship has come to an end.
“I will forever be grateful for the most important thing to me now and always, my beautiful daughter. Without us there would be no her, she will always be my priority.”
“I want to thank you all for the love you have shown us over the last five years,” she added. “You have all been a part of our journey and I feel it’s right to share this with you all.”

Molly-Mae declined to specify what led to her relationship breakdown, but Tommy’s spokesperson later denied there was any infidelity.
In his own statement on the split, Tommy wrote: “I am heartbroken to share that Molly and I have decided to end our relationship. The past five years have led to us having out [SIC] beautiful baby girl, Bambi, and I will be forever thankful to Molly for making me a dad. Bambi is our priority.
“Please respect our privacy, and our families privacy, as we navigate our way through this difficult time.”
Molly-Mae and Tommy met and fell in love when they were runners-up on the fifth season of Love Island, before getting engaged in July 2023. The couple have one child together — a daughter called Bambi who was born last year.
Following Love Island, the former couple starred together in the Netflix streaming reality show At Home with the Furys, alongside Tommy’s brother Tyson Fury and their extended family.
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX.
