Love Island UK has Joey Essex, but the stateside version has signed up its own British TV legend.
Aaron Evans, one of the winners of The Traitors‘ first season, has been unveiled as part of the line-up for this year’s Love Island USA.
The sixth season of the US version of the show begins next week on Peacock, with the contestants looking for love in a villa in beautiful Fiji.

Aaron is one of 10 contestants who will be looking for love, with the line-up including season 5 Casa Amor bombshell Robert Rausch and Kordell Beckham, the brother of NFL player Odell Beckham Jr.
Aaron had said two years ago that he didn’t think he was cut out for Love Island but would be willing to try.
“I don’t know, honestly if anything comes my way I’d be more than happy to,” Aaron told Metro.co.uk.
“It’s so much fun so I’d definitely do something again. I don’t know about Love Island – I don’t think I’m cut for Love Island!”
Aaron is no stranger to looking for love on reality TV, having appeared on First Dates earlier this year.

On the show, Aaron revealed what he did with the £101,050 prize pot he split with fellow Faithfuls Meryl Williams and Hannah Byczkowski.
“I got to the final and won like £33 grand,” Aaron said. “I ended up giving the money to my mum anyway.
“Well, I gave her the £33 grand and then asked for three grand back because I was skint.”
Love Island airs on ITV2 and streams on ITVX. Love Island USA premieres June 11 on Peacock.
