London travel news LIVE: Major disruption on Elizabeth line and Paddington GWR trains due to ‘casualty on track’

Train services in and out of London Paddington are suffering “major disruption” as emergency services respond to a casualty on the tracks.

The Elizabeth line is currently suspended between Hayes & Harlington and Reading with severe delays between Paddington and Heathrow, according to TfL.

Great Western Railway services between Paddington and Reading are also affected.

National Rail Enquiries is warning trains running between these stations may be cancelled, majorly delayed by up to 65 minutes or revised.

It says disruption is currently expected to last until 3.45pm.

There is no service between Hayes & Harlington and Reading on the Elizabeth Line while emergency services deal with a casualty on the track.

There are also severe delays between Paddington and Heathrow Terminals while emergency services deal with the incident.

There is a good service on the rest of the line.

TfL said tickets will be accepted on London Underground any reasonable route.
