A smash has left a Staffordshire road shut off. Currently part of Cannock Road between Penkridge and Cannock is closed off.
Traffic monitoring system Inrix first issued an alert just after 12.25am this morning (May 26) to advise a section of the route had been shut in both directions.
It states: “Cannock Road in both directions closed due to accident from Mansty Lane (Mansty) to Pottal Pool Road (Quarry Heath). Between Penkridge and Cannock.”
No further details of the collision have been released.
