Lisa Armstrong has shared a post to her social media about “d***heads” soon after her ex Ant McPartlin was spotted out with his baby son.
Makeup artist Armstrong, 47, frequently shares humorous and inspirational quotes on her social media without providing context, and the latest advice to her followers seemed to be a dig at an unnamed person.
Armstrong shared a series of posts to her Instagram stories on Friday and Saturday. According to The Mirror, the first read: “I saw a post that said: ‘If you want a happy and healthy life, you need to avoid d***heads not carbohydrates.’ I think we’d all benefit from hearing this today.”
She went on to post on Saturday another quote which read: “Sometimes you just have to let people be.
“Be who they are, do what they do, act how they act, say what they say, let them live their version of reality, let them sit with their lies and delusion while you sit with the truth in peace.”
The cryptic share comes soon after McPartlin, 48, was snapped enjoying a stroll with his newborn baby Wilder along with his second wife Anne-Marie Corbett, the couple’s two dogs and Labrador Hurley, who he shares with Armstrong.

The pictures, obtained by The Mirror, show the family out for a walk, with the newborn in a pram being pushed by Corbett while McPartlin clutched the dogs’ leads.
McPartlin is also stepfather to Corbett’s two daughters from her first husband. It’s not the first time Armstrong’s posts seem to coincide with McPartlin hitting the headlines, with another quote following the birth of his first child.
Following the announcement of McPartlin’s son, Armstrong once again took to her Instagram stories, posting a snap which read: “Be proud of how you have been handling these past few months.
“The silent battles you’ve fought, the moments you’ve had to humble yourself, the times you’ve wiped your own tears. Celebrate your strength.”
Despite the difficulties Armstrong and her ex seemed to have faced with their messy divorce in 2018, it was recently reported the TV makeup expert is making a fresh start.
A source stated last month that Armstrong has done “a lot of healing over the past few years.”
Speaking to OK!, they commented: “Lisa knows Ant is ready to move on with the next chapter of his life – she doesn’t want to be angry anymore.
“She’s done a lot of healing over the past few years and spent so much time being upset and angry about everything.

“It has been exhausting but she has done a lot of work on herself. It seems everyone is having a fresh start with the end of the show and Ant’s new chapter in his life, so Lisa wants to make sure she’s in a good place.”
Armstrong demonstrated support for her former husband just weeks ago when his long-term show, Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, came to an end after 20 years on air.
