Lidl’s version of the infamous ‘coke truck’ is due in Queens’ Square on Sunday 24th of November to promote their ‘Freeway’ cola drink.
Previously Wrexham was brought to a standstill when the Coke truck turned up, with Lidl now creating their own version of the festive HGV.
The supermarket announced the stop saying, “Lidl’s Christmas Freeway truck will be touring Great Britain for the first time ever! Join us to spread some festive magic from the 14 November until the 1 December. There will be free gifts from the Middle of Lidl, food tasting and more!”
They add, “Present boxes made up of Middle of Lidl items will be available to the first 250 visitors at each of the 9 stops.
“1 in 10 boxes will also contain a ‘Golden Ticket’ giving shoppers £100 towards their festive food shop at Lidl. Sample some festive delights with us from panettone and snowmallows to alcohol-free mulled wine – and also our festive chutneys!
“Step inside The Magical Wish-mas Booth and make your Christmas wish to share with your friends and family. Plus, there’s a chance to win some Lidl Plus goodies via our Secret Boxes activation where everyone is a winner!
“So come and join us for some festive fun!”
The OG Coca‑Cola truck is also touring, but no details on if that will be visiting Wrexham have been released as of yet.
