Liam Gallagher has lashed out after his vocals were criticised on social media ahead of Anthony Joshua’s boxing match against Daniel Dubois last night (September 21).
The frontman gave fans a taste of what to expect when he finally reunites with brother Noel Gallagher for Oasis‘ long-awaited 2025 UK and Ireland reunion tour next year, by performing three tracks from their seminal 1994 debut album ‘Definitely Maybe’ – ‘Rock ‘n’ Roll Star’, ‘Supersonic’ and ‘Cigarettes & Alcohol’ at Wembley Stadium.
But some were quick to criticise the frontman with some making it clear that they were glad to have missed out on Oasis tickets.
“Good job Liam Gallagher sold those tickets early doors!” ESPN commentator Rob Palmer posted on X.

Another wrote: “All those fools that have spent thousands on Oasis tickets for next year.
Liam Gallagher sounds crap at Wembley tonight. Enjoy suckers….”
“I don’t think there’s been a worse performance at Wembley than what Liam Gallagher just had,” one other added.

It prompted Gallagher to hit back at his critics. “To all those SHITC***S who were crying about my ANGELIC TONES last night you ain’t real fans your just IMPOSTERS and if you do have tickets you wanna get rid off I’ll gladly take them off your hands we don’t want the likes of you at our concerts nxt year any way,” he wrote.
He later followed it up with another tweet, with a drawing of a bird and the words: “You will not stop me from singing my song, I will sing it forever.”

Throughout the performance, Gallagher could be seen gesturing to the sound desk with increasing frustration.
He explained his frustration on X when one fan asked: “I saw ya make jesters to the sound guy during supersonic but that’s all I saw, you sounded great to me, absolutely buzzing for next year now,” prompting the Oasis frontman to reply: “Yes 3 guitars on that stage and couldn’t hear 1 bumbaclart.”
When another asked why he missed the first line in the song, Gallagher again replied: “Couldn’t hear guitars all 3 of them.”

Victory ultimately went to Dubois last night, who retained his IBF heavyweight title by knocking out Joshua in the fifth round.
Guitarist and founding member Bonehead also joined Gallagher for the performance, leaving fans hopeful that he will indeed be joining the reformed line-up following reports.
Earlier this week Liam suggested that “there could be a few new faces” performing with Oasis as part of their 2025 reunion shows.
The ‘Oasis Live 25’ world tour sold out all of its initial 14 stadium dates, which are set to take place between Cardiff, Manchester, London, Edinburgh and Dublin next summer.
Two extra shows in London were then announced for September 2025, and tickets were available to fans who were unsuccessful the first time around.
However, the ticket sales were not without controversy, as many fans were taken by surprise by the dynamic pricing in place.
Tickets prices for the extra shows were capped but they also quickly sold out, leaving fans divided over the private ballot sale.
