Today Lenovo has unveiled the new Tab Plus, an 11.5-inch tablet that’s all about entertainment. Thus, it comes with eight JBL speakers and an integrated kickstand with up to 175 degrees of “viewing flexibility”, Lenovo says. It can also transform into a Bluetooth speaker if you want it to – not physically, mind you, this just means you can connect to it with your phone as if it were a Bluetooth speaker and easily play stuff on its speakers.
It comes with a personalized app volume control feature, which for example can automatically crank up the volume when a specific app is open, lower the volume when another app is in the foreground, and so on.
The LCD screen has 90 Hz refresh rate, 2000×1200 resolution, and 400-nit maximum brightness. The tablet is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G99 SoC, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128/256GB of expandable storage.
There’s an 8 MP camera on the rear, and an 8 MP one on the front too. The Tab Plus has a 3.5mm headphone jack, an 8,600 mAh battery with support for 45W fast wired charging, and it runs Android 14 with OS upgrades promised for two years and security patches until June 2028.
The Lenovo Tab Plus measures 268.3 x 174.25 x 7.77-13.58 mm and weighs 650g. It’s available now in Luna Grey in “select global markets” for a recommended retail price of €279 or $289.99.
