LEGO Fortnite’s next update has the Battle Bus and plenty of other new features as details surface of an incoming update, including Indiana Jones.
Just as teased, the next LEGO Fortnite update landing in-game tomorrow will include the Battle Bus, timing well with the upcoming launch of 77073 Battle Bus. The Fortnite team have confirmed that update v30.40 arrives tomorrow August 6 and has detailed the exact features.
As well as fast travel via the Battle Bus, accessed by building a Bus Station or using the pre-built ones that will appear in your world. You’ll need Rift Shards to build them which can be acquired by destroying a Bus Station.
As well as fast travel, new toys are coming including a Pressure Plate, Trigger Plate and various Activated Balloons to create more complicated flying machines than ever before. An update is also coming to LEGO Fortnite’s settings and you’ll be able to modify the settings of existing worlds not including player elimination and your mode. That’s on top of new vehicle builds named the Kart Racer and the Offroad Flyer and a codex of your discoveries.
As well as the update, new LEGO Kits are coming based on pirates for 1,000 V-Bucks including the Captain’s Battlement build and Planky Favorites decor bundle (800 V-Bucks individually), the Captain’s Cabin decor bundle (300 V-Bucks individually) and the Seaport Style decor bundle (200 V-Bucks individually).
New LEGO Styles will be added too for Abyss, Antheia, The Cube Queen, Ember and most notably Indiana Jones who uses his updated minifigure design from the theme’s reboot in 2023.
It’s a sizable update and helps make sense of 77073 Battle Bus without it tying into the Battle Royale mode. For now, the only upcoming LEGO Fortnite set that seems to take inspiration from it is 77072 Peely Bone with a pickaxe, Back Bling and more.
