Lauryn Goodman has claimed her four-year-old son Kairo ‘subconsciously sees his dad Kyle Walker as very far away’ after he drew a family picture.

The influencer, 33, revealed Kairo had drawn Manchester City footballer Kyle ‘miles off the page’ in a family portrait done at school.

Lauryn, was embroiled in a paternity scandal with Kyle after he secretly fathered her two children, Kairo and daughter Kinara, 14 months, during his marriage to Annie Kilner.

Speaking on her podcast Yours Sincerely on Wednesday, Lauryn said: ‘When I say to him, “who’s his family?”, he always says, “me, Kiki, and him”,’ she said. ‘That’s what he classifies as his family.’

In the drawing, Kyle was at the far end of the page – which Lauryn said a ‘play therapist’ had informed her meant that Kairo sees his father as ‘very far away, there but not there’.

Having spotted a ‘My Family’ letter written by Kairo at school, Lauryn said: ‘So it was a real shock to me when I was sitting there in the class just minding our own business, learning phonics and learning maths with them, and I turned to the right, and this just literally wiped me out.

‘I think when you’re going through everything, it kind of just hits you that hard  doesn’t it?

‘It [his picture and bio] said “Daddy plays football, but I am the bestest at football in the whole wide world, and mummy sleeps with me at bedtime. Kiki likes holding my hand”.’

She then turned her attention to the picture he had drawn to go with the letter, as she said: ‘He drew this picture, and it had Nana, mummy.’

‘So it’s me, nana, Kiki and Cairo, Kiki’s so tiny as well, anyway… miles away, nearly off the page, is his dad.’

Lauryn continued: ‘It’s interesting, because I went and met with a play therapist after and I was talking to her about this picture, and she said that actually, kids, you learn a lot about kids with how they draw and what they write about and what they draw about.

‘And I’ve never really thought about it, because obviously, when Kyra was younger, the drawings used a whale or a football or not really family orient people.  This is the first time I’ve seen this. It’s it literally took me by surprise.

‘But she said it’s really interesting that he’s drawn his dad. He couldn’t be any further away from us, all of us, if he tried. He wouldn’t even, yeah, he’d be off the page.

‘And she said that subconsciously, that’s what he he’s, well, he views his dad that he’s very far away, as in, he’s there but not there.’

On last week’s episode, Lauryn said she could never have hidden her daughter’s paternity as Kinara is ‘the spit’ of Kyle.

Her co presenter Lisa said she was ‘so shocked’ how much Kinara looked like Kyle, and added Lauryn could never have hidden that.

Lauryn explained: ‘I know, that’s what I told him, and now she’s getting older, how much is she looking like Kairo.’

Lisa agreed: ‘I’ve never seen a child look so much like another human, that is a carbon copy more than Kairo.’

Lauryn said: ‘When Kairo was a baby he looked like him, but not on the level of Keeks. It was mental. The pictures when I Iook back gives me PTSD.’

Lisa quipped: ‘You never could have got away with it!’, with Lauryn adding: ‘Never!’

‘You could have never mentioned Kyle’s name for the rest of your life, but one look at Keeks and people would have been like ‘no need for a DNA!”

Lauryn explained: ‘Everyone knew, everyone knew when they saw. They were like, ‘they are the spit of each other’ and now she’s grown up, she’s really looking like Kairo now.

‘Kyle didn’t think that [he and daughter look alike] when he saw Keeks. Kyle didn’t think that, Kyle thought she was the spit of Kairo.’
