The new special series is offered on the high-performance Range Rover Sport SV model, and the “dramatic exterior” has been mixed with four new themes announced for 2024 – each of them brings fresh, bespoke paintjobs, new carbon fiber touches, plus the SV Performance seats available in a multitude of colors to dress the Windsor leather or “innovative knit textiles,” plus some exclusive branding on the front splitter, center console, treadplates, and even the puddle lamps.
The Blue Nebula Matte is an exclusive color for the SV Edition Two, and the “most powerful and dynamic” Range Rover Sport ever has a hydraulic interlinked 6D Dynamics suspension with pitch and roll control, light and strong (optional) Brembo carbon ceramic brakes with eight‑piston SV front calipers, and “pioneering” 23-inch carbon fiber wheel that helps with the total weight saving measures amounting to 167.6 lbs. (76 kg).
The 2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport SV Edition Two is powered by the mild-hybrid twin-turbo V8 engine from BMW with 626 hp (635 ps) and 553 lb‑ft (750 Nm) of torque, enough to sprint from zero to 60 mph (96 kph) in just 3.6 seconds – a panache of the “most powerful Range Rover vehicle ever.” Top speed is also impressive – 180 mph (290 kph)!
The four new design curations for the SV Edition Two include Blue Nebula, a color inspired by the Northern Atlantic coast, paired with the new Satin Forged Carbon exterior pack, a painted carbon fiber hood, 23‑inch forged black alloy wheels with Blue Nebula brake calipers behind them and Light Cloud and Ebony Windsor leather-finished SV Performance Seats.
The second curation pairs a Marl Grey Gloss shade with a Gloss Carbon Twill exterior pack, Exposed Carbon Twill hood, and 23‑inch Carbon Gloss wheels with Sunrise Copper calipers. At the same time, the interior is dressed in Rosewood and Ebony Windsor leather. A Sunrise Copper Satin finish combines with Satin Carbon Twill for the third curation, which also has Ebony Windsor leather seats, red anodized calipers, 23-inch forged black alloy wheels, and a carbon fiber hood.
Last but not least, there’s also a Ligurian Black Gloss x Satin Carbon Twill exterior pack for the fourth idea, which also includes an exposed carbon fiber hood, 23‑inch Carbon Gloss wheels with Nano Yellow brake calipers plus Cinder, and Ebony interior in Knit and Ultrafabrics PU. Optional goodies include smaller 22‑inch Diamond‑Turned alloy wheels with Satin Dark Grey, a body-matching roof, and Satin Forged Carbon Fiber or Twill Carbon Fiber trim inside, the latter also has matching carbon fiber seat backs.
At the moment, Land Rover hasn’t announced prices or availability of the SV and Edition Two for America, but for sure, it won’t be cheap – it starts from AUD 359,715 (plus on-road costs) in Australia, for example, which is the equivalent of over $235k at the current exchange rate.
