Klopp sends parting message to City over 115 charges ahead of Liverpool farewell

Liverpool boss Jürgen Klopp will be keeping a close eye on what happens with Manchester City’s 115 financial charges once he leaves Anfield. The Reds boss will step down after nine years, following Sunday’s final day clash with Wolves.

While Liverpool bids farewell to Klopp, City is going in search of a fourth successive title. Victory over West Ham at the Etihad will see Guardiola’s men edge out Arsenal for the top prize in English football.

City denies any wrongdoing and Klopp was asked about the case ahead of his final match in charge of Liverpool. He said: “Everybody knows about the 115 charges, but I have no clue what that means. I only know the number.

“No matter what has transpired at Manchester City, Pep Guardiola is the best manager in the world – and that is truly significant. If you put any other manager in that club, they don’t win the league four times in a row. That’s down to him and his team.
