Kirklees Pride is set to return this weekend as thousands gather on the streets of the city to celebrate Yorkshire’s biggest LGBTQ+ parade.
The event will take place on Saturday 15th June 2024 at St George’s Square, Huddersfield and performances and speeches will begin from 1pm to 8pm in the evening.
Parade goers will be joined by over 100 floats and the day will feature a selection of live music, stage shows, and drag acts.

Headliners
The day with be packed with local and national talent taking to the stage and among them is award- winning girl band Stooshe.
The band have had a string of top 10 hits, a top 10 album and hundreds of live performances, and their biggest hit to date “Black Heart” was even nominated for Best British Single of the year at the Brits.
Joining Stooshe on the main stage will be Dr Weevil and Atholl bringing their unique take on some dance classics to St George’s Square, Lady Gaga and Dolly Parton Tribute acts, West End star Amie Atkinson will be singing some classics from the musicals plus performances from local drag artists.
Road closures and bus routes affected
WY Metro have said that Railway Street in Huddersfield will be closed for the Parade and bus stops S2, S3 & S4 will be suspended during the event.
They will resume back to normal routes when roads are re-opened, and when it is safe to do so.
Services using Northumberland Street, Leeds Road will depart from the Bus Station and Bus stop K4 Lord Street.
Services using John Williams Street will depart from the Bus Station. Free Town Bus will use Bus Stop W2 Westgate and Bus stop K4 Lord Street.
