King Charles and Queen Camilla’s sweet new nicknames have been revealed by GB News Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker, as the monarch visited the Chelsea Flower Show in London.
The visit was the monarch’s first trip to the show since becoming patron of the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) last week.
Speaking on GB News, Royal Correspondent Cameron Walker discussed one part of the King and Queen’s visit which had the royals “chuckling”, as they visited a “No Adults Allowed” garden.
The display was designed by Sulivan Primary School pupils, the first in its history since the show began. The King and Queen were also gifted badges, calling them “King of the Compost” and “Queen of the Bees”.

Speaking to GB News hosts Isabel Webster and Ellie Costello, Cameron said the visit to the Flower Show was “all about the environment”, which has been a keen interest of the King for many years.
Following the King’s cancer diagnosis and return to public duties, Cameron said it was “lovely” to see the monarch and Queen Camilla out and about at the event.
He explained: “The King is now the new patron of the Royal Horticultural Society, who sets up the Chelsea Flower Show.
“He’s taking after his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, who had the title for 70 years.”

Discussing the badges, Cameron added: “The King and Queen were both given badges. The King had a ‘King of Compost’ badge, the Queen had a ‘Queen of Bees’ badge.

“Of course, it was all about the environment, and Sulivan Primary School are the school children they met.”
King Charles told the school children that his nickname was “quite right”, and he chuckled with the pupils as he and Camilla were gifted the pins.
Cameron noted that Queen Camilla also revealed which hit Netflix show she had been watching, during her discussions with guests at the Flower Show.
He said: “The Queen even revealed she’s watched Bridgerton as well during the visit, which obviously the new season is coming out, so she’s a fan of that.”

Turning the discussion to the King’s health since returning to public-facing duties, Cameron told GB News Charles is “very determined” to do as much as possible following his absence.
Cameron said of the King’s cancer: “He is still, of course, battling cancer. He’s still having treatment, but he clearly is very determined to carry out as many public duties as possible.
“And we have seen in the last couple of weeks him doing more and more, ramping up these engagements as we get towards the summer. So we should treat this perhaps as a bit of a positive sign.
“You can just tell just happy he is to be out and about, particularly in the lovely weather.”
