King Charles and Queen Camilla in stitches over ‘frisky’ Jersey cows

The King and Queen have been left in stitches after spotting two “frisky” female cows during the their visit to Jersey today.

The royal couple couldn’t help but laugh along with fellow attendees who also spotted the comedic moment.

King Charles has been gifted the seven heifers today, all which represent an outstanding cross-section of breeding from the leading herds in Jersey.

Dressed in a beautiful shade of blue, Queen Camilla looked stunning as she and the monarch arrived for a two-day trip with King Charles to the Channel Islands.

Camilla – who looked around to fellow onlookers after spotting the cows – opted for a midi light powder blue silk shirt dress by Anna Valentine.

On Tuesday, Charles and Camilla are set to travel to Guernsey on Tuesday, which will their first visit to the two bailiwicks since the King acceded to the throne in 2022.

The visit highlights the relationship between the Channel Islands and the Crown which stretches back centuries.

During the first day of their tour, the couple attended a special sitting of the State Assembly, as well as attending the Jersey Expo – where local farmers and artists showcase their produce.

The King and Queen then resumed their third engagement of the day. The King was able to present the new King’s Colour to the Jersey Sea Cadets in their 75th Anniversary year.

As the couple were on Weighbridge Place in St Helier touring the Jersey Expo, a security alert was detected.

The King and Queen were then rushed to the Pomme D’or hotel for safety before shortly resuming their scheduled course of engagements.

Buckingham Palace have refused to comment on the incident but sources said every precaution was taken.
