King Charles finds it hard to let go of his resentment towards Prince Harry, although he deeply loves his son, a royal expert has claimed.
A fresh report suggests that the King’s unforgiveness is linked to various revelations made by Harry in his memoir “Spare” regarding his family.
According to royal biographer Christopher Andersen, it appears almost impossible for Charles to overlook the perceived indiscretions of Harry.
Allegedly, Harry’s critique of Camilla further complicates matters. Sharing his insights, Andersen stated: “I think people have to realise that the one thing that Charles finds unforgivable is criticism of Camilla.”
In a conversation with Fox News Digital, Andersen mentioned that no censure towards Camilla can be deemed admissible. He added that, regrettably, Harry has vocalised “some pretty devastating things about her.”
Emphasising Harrys sentiments towards Camilla, Andersen said,”Prince Harry made it clear that he felt she was the villain in the piece.”
“I think that still bothers the king, and I don’t know that it will be easy for him to [forgive]. I don’t think they’ll ever forgive Harry for that.”
He also suggested that a resolution seems far as long as Harry harbours resentment towards Camilla, meaning until then, the Duke essentially “is on his own.”
Following Harry’s absence from public Father’s Day messages, Royal pundit Lizzie Cundy criticised the prince. “I thought it was very poignant that Prince William sent this beautiful post.
“It shows the bond they still have and the respect he has for his father, and there’s Harry, very noticeably absent.”
Speaking to GBN America, Lizzie pressed on: “Let’s not forget, this is a 75-year-old man suffering with cancer, going on with all his duties, at Trooping the Colour he was stood there in the pouring rain. You just think, ‘Wow, this man is absolutely incredible’, he is everything Harry isn’t.”
Her outlook on Harry’s actions wasn’t forgiving. While she agreed no one knows if Harry privately acknowledged his dad on the day, Lizzie said: “Harry just seems to have lost the plot. And how hurtful indeed not to even send a Father’s Day message. We don’t know if he did it privately.”
Finally, she added: “Normally, Harry and Meghan are very vocal, but if they can’t post a Father’s Day message, that’s unforgivable.”
