There is zero denying it, the Kardashian-Jenner clan have spearheaded maaaaany a trend.
How can we forget the see-through, perspex heels – which went on to be one of *the* shoes of the late 2010s, FYI – championed by Kim all the way back in 2016? Or the matte lips favoured by Kylie and her infamous lip kits? How about the minimalist bodycon fits and shapewear looks which pretty much all of the sisters have embraced – nay, pioneered – over the years?
So, this is all to say that when these girls step out rocking a new look, we’re all paying attention – it could, after all, be the next major trend to grace our feeds.
And if Kim’s latest IG posts are anything to go by, we’d better brace ourselves for cowl neck tops with such an extreme plunging neckline that they are harking back to the infinity scarf trend of the 2010s.
Earlier this week, she debuted a white, latex halter neck cowl top from Chrome Hearts on IG. Given that the top was backless, plunged to her stomach and wrapped around her neck due to is halter fastening, it literally looked *exactly* like the infinity scarves we were rocking back in the Tumblr era.
And, yep, it doesn’t stop there! Earlier this weekend, Kim posted *another* carousel of pics repping a similar style of plunging cowl halter. This time posing on a literal yacht, Kim’s top was a stretchy grey jersey and was styled with a pair of black leggings and heeled sandals.
This look shouldn’t work but it so, so does!
